Celebrate and help save the treasured marine environment of the Florida Keys at the annual Ocean Festival in Key West.  Held at the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center on the Truman Waterfront, this family event is a good time with local live music, incredible art, exhibits and fun kids’ activities, like the free fishing seminar. The Eco-Discovery Center showcases the unique ecosystem of the Florida Keys, including the living coral reef.

Get into Key West’s playful coastal vibe at the Ocean Festival, where you sway to live music all day and dive into great food, beer and cocktails. Do some shopping for marine art and unique crafts and browse the awesome Water Craft Show. The kids will have a blast at the touch tanks, seeing live animals and getting their faces painted.

Ocean Festival will also feature 30 exhibits that highlight the Florida Keys’ conservation initiates and a huge silent auction to benefit the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Don’t miss the Tuna Trot 5K Race for the Reefs. And when the sun goes down, stroll over to the after Party at the Smokin Tuna Saloon.

What’s cool is that Ocean Fest is free and parking is free. So throw on your shades and head down to the Key West waterfront for a celebration of Key West’s natural side.
